NEW! Introduction to Field Data Collection using Collector for ArcGIS This is a half-day course.

Create layers and web maps in ArcGIS Online for use with the Collector for ArcGIS application.
Use Collector for ArcGIS to add new features and edit existing data.
Explore workflows for managing data collection across the ArcGIS Platform.

Thinking Spatially This course is intended for those individuals with little or no knowledge of GIS, the MD iMAP Program, or ArcGIS Online. This is a half day course.
The next logical course to take after Thinking Spatially is Intermediate ArcGIS Online and MD iMAP. |
Learn fundamental concepts of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Map tabular data and perform basic analysis with ArcGIS Online
Convert tabular data to spatial data
Use the MD iMAP Composite Geo-Locator
Search for, create and share content

Intermediate ArcGIS Online and MD iMAP
This course is intended for those individuals who have basic knowledge of ArcGIS Online and are already familiar with the MD iMAP Program. This is a full day course. Lunch will not be provided. |

Introduction to ArcGIS Desktop and MD iMAP
This course is intended for those individuals with little or no knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop and how it can be used with MD iMAP. Individuals taking this course should already have some knowledge of GIS. This is a 2 day course. Lunch will not be provided. |
Use ArcCatalog to explore data
Use ArcMap to symbolize data and create custom maps
Query datasets based on spatial location and attribute values
Perform basic spatial analysis tasks and join tables
Build a geodatabase and create spatial data
Convert tabular data to spatial data and geocode tables

Transitioning to ArcGIS Pro
This course is intended to help individuals with basic knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop transition into using ArcGIS Pro. Individuals taking this course should already have some knowledge of GIS. This is a 2-day course. Lunch will be on your own. |
Navigate the modern ribbon-based interface
Utilize projects to explore, symbolize, and map local data and feature service data
Interact with datasets through queries and basic analysis
Convert tabular data to spatial data and geocode tables
Learn tips and tricks, create dynamic charts and animations, and generate 3-D views of data
