Dashboards combine graphs, charts, tables and maps to help users explore and understand complex data sets. In cooperation with our partners Salisbury University's Eastern Shore Regional GIS Cooperative (ESRGC) and Towson University’s Center for Geographic Information Systems (CGIS), the Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT) will help Maryland state agencies develop and host dashboards. The primary requirement is the underlying data sets are shared as open data through Maryland’s Open Data Portal or the GIS Data Catalog.
Traffic Count Locations in the Baltimore RegionThis dashboard showcases traffic count characteristics. Average Annual Daily Traffic (AADT) and Average Annual Weekday Daily Traffic (AAWDT) counts at each location are graphed by year. Select a traffic count location to see the AADT and AAWDT graphed by year and vehicle type. Developed by the Baltimore Metropolitan Council.
Give Maryland DashboardThis dashboard displays support related to the Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC), a program that offers 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with state tax credits to attract contributions. Use the dashboard to find active nonprofit organizations, learn more about each organization's goals and donate to support efforts in the community. Developed by ESRGC for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) in conjunction with the Maryland Department of Information Technology.
OSPREY Dashboard PublicThis dashboard provides a snapshot of what’s going on by Maryland region. The status of power outages, weather, traffic, hospitals and shelters are displayed color coded in an easy-to-digest table. The automated alerts include power, weather, traffic, hospitals and shelters. A mouse click or tap on an alert box will provide details about the alert(s) and relevant links. Maryland Data ExplorerEver wanted to know how Maryland stands up against the competition? The Maryland Data Explorer compares Maryland with the other States and Baltimore/Washington, D.C. metro areas with other top 50 metro areas throughout the country. The Data Explorer also provides Maryland county-to-county comparisons on a variety of economic and demographic factors. Data from this dashboard can be viewed and downloaded from Maryland's Open Data Portal. Developed by ESRGC for the Maryland Department of Commerce.
