Council on Open DataThe Council on Open Data was established by the Open Data Act in 2014. This Council consists of individuals committed to promoting policy related to transparency, availability and quality of both spatial and non-spatial data in Maryland.
Technical CommitteeThe Technical Committee implements policies related to the transparency, availability and quality of spatial data in Maryland. The MD iMAP Technical Committee is comprised of GIS professionals from the State, Regional, County and Municipal levels of government, Academia and the Private Sector.
Maryland State Geographic Information Committee (MSGIC)MSGIC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization representing Maryland's GIS community at the State, Local, Federal, Educational, Research Institution and Private Sector levels. MSGIC works to strengthen GIS in Maryland and contributes to many of the initiatives alongside MD iMAP and the Council for Open Data.
TUgis - Maryland's Geospatial ConferenceTUgis is Maryland's Geospatial Conference and has been held annually for the last 26 years. This one-day conference features hands-on training workshops, dynamic lightning talks and poster sessions and provides opportunities to network with colleagues throughout the GIS community in Maryland.
